Young Researchers wanted

We are currently looking for native people of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar (Burma) between 18 and 30 year age to do small scale research works that are useful and necessary for the community and environment. Applicants must be residing in the respective country. Please note these posts are not for experienced researchers and those holding research posts in business or schools. Also persons who are preparing for or have done post-graduate university research works do not need to apply.

The research topics shall be selected from our available list which will be presented to the applicants during personal interview and applicants' own titles. Cash money for all expenses and other supports shall be provided to the selected persons. The research time period is estimated to be 4 to 6 months with some exceptions. Research works are to be done within the geographic area of researcher's country.

Finished approved research papers shall be posted in one or more of our websites. Researcher's name shall be printed and properly credited; and researcher can use his/her works as part of his/her portfolio. However the research work will become property of KSS Wise Ltd., Part.

Inter-relationship between different cultures
Conflict and media study
Culture of paddy/rice (or corn, etc.)
Culture/life of living on the river/sea/island
Architecture, house/home/village of certain group of people

Colour
Fire
Bamboo
Basketry

Clothing
Water

Fishing boats
Lifting or transportation of heavy objects
Traditional food
Traditional hand tools
Traditional village homes

Subjects related to nature, natural history and environment
Man and nature relation related

Requirement

Natives of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, or Myanmar (Burma)
Older than 18 year, but not over 30 year
Ability to communicate in your own native langauge plus English
Currently studying at a College, Institute, College; or fresh graduates
Very honest, open minded and hard working
Computer and Internet competency
Independent & responsible

Training and discussion will be done before and after selecting the research topic. Applicants must have access to reliable Internet connection. Use of Internect shop is ok.

Please include your brief resume and contact details. If you have questions about the research, please include them in the inquiry. Upon receipt of your inquiry We may email you a small set of questions requesting your answers to find out more about you.

We will then contact the short listed persons for personal interview in Yangon, Bangkok, Vientiane and Siem Reap.
