Trail of Khmer Architecture in north-eastern Thailand - Buriram & Korat (12 to 14 September 2008)
Then we visited Phimai National Museum about 300 meters from the sanctuary. The exhibitions include many ancient and precious objects found from southern Issan provinces.
Our last Khmer temple visit was Prasart Phanomwan. There was no tourist there. We met village children and a black cat. Compared to other Khmer sanctuaries this place is small and it is different from the others. It has Buddha images inside.
We entered Bangkok city area at 6 p.m. while it was raining.
We were almost home, in the traffic, while the rain stopped and double rainbow appeared in the sky above the city line.
For me, it was first time to see a double rainbow in Bangkok in 10 years.
End of this month one of our tripmate will migrate to an overseas country.
Friendship is unlike the rainbow. It is not just come and go; it is long lasting.
