A bungalow bathroom and toilet in Doi Phu Kha national park
Due to cold weather in the winter (October to January) water heaters are provided in many bungalow bathrooms.
These bungalows are however more expensive than small privately run guesthouses outside the park and
in the towns.

Two days one night or three days two nights jungle trek and camping in the forest are possible.
But one needs to prepare for cold and wet weather and leeches. Usually you are expected to carry your
own stuff, supplies and gear. It is possible to request more park's rangers to help with carrying the stuff.
A racing long tail boat on transport truck trailer
On the way to Nan we followed a trailer carrying a wooden racing long tail boat to the town.
The next day would be the first day of boat racing on the Nan river. Our plan did not allow us to spend
more day so we had to satisfy with a visit to the Nan national museum, and taking photos of boats
practising for the race.
Nan national museum
Nan national museum houses collections of art history, archaeological and ethnological
exhibitions.
