A bunker used during the flight against so-called Communist insergents in the 1970's.
The Kumintan Chinese army members who came to this area helped
fight against Thai Communist insergents with the supports of Thai Military.
The bunker or the gun station is located on the mountain ridge which is now the border between
Thailand and Laos.
A border opening (hole in the mountain) below the above gun station have been closed since the flight against so-called Communist insergents in the 1970's.

The road is quite wavy and curvy between the mountain side and cliff side.
In the rainy season much care is necessary. Land slide and road sink are not uncommon.

fabrics and basketry, hand tools and other house-hold items as well as farm produces.
