Level 16 of the Khao Soi Dao waterfall. I don't know if there are more levels after this. People only talk about levels 1 to 16 and it looks like the highest in the waterfall tourists usually visit. But it is still far from the peak of Khao Soi Dao north mountain or the very source of the river.
The pool overlooking the world. The pond of the level 16 fall is a superb swimming pool with a view of the world below you; the sky being the roof. It is a bath basin fit for a queen.

To quench my curiosity I walk up the boulder and find the river that fills the level 16. It is a river that goes go deep into the jungle. I could not follow to the end in a day. So this is it for now and I have to go back.
Dead plants, new plants, plants eating plants, trying to reach a cycle of natural equilibrium. I take the foot path in the jungle while walking down to the visitor center.
