The market finishes at about 8:30 a.m. when there are only few people going about. The right photo shows the Cambodian side: A ferry boat at Koh Kong pier before leaving for Sihanoukville. The boat leaves Koh Kong pier at 8:00 a.m.

Foreigners (from the countries whose citizens can enter Thailand without visa) who stay in Thailand 30 days as tourists come to this border to get another 30 days stay. Thai people can enter the adjacent Cambodian side without visa. However if they want to visit Koh Kong and other places they must apply for visa which is available at Cambodian immigration on the boder for a fee.
