We travelled again the Mekong river on a private slow boat down to the cultural hub of Luang Prabang in northern Laos.
Started in Chiang Rai in northern Thailand it was a very pleasant ride down one of Asia's longest rivers in its lower
section.

Mekong river (Mae Nam Khong) is a lifeline for peoples, animals, plants and the land. Many peoples depend on the river for
living - gold panners, fishermen, traders, boat builders, peanut farmers, cattle raisers.
