From the drum tower of the temple we could see the Mekong river (flowing right to center, and then away), Moon river (flowing right to center and merges into Mekong). Roughly 11 km down from the meeting with Moon river the Mekong enters entirely into Laos territory.
Khong Chiam district town (Ubon Ratchathani), Mekong river, and the other side is Laos.
